Who is John May? ABC’s V is really picking up steam now with the emergence of the V Fifth Column. We have no idea who John May is, but no doubt he’s well hidden.
The whole Fifth Column thing was the biggest revelation in this third episode of the new V (official episode title is:A Bright New Day
It’s neat that the Fifth Column have member on board the NYC mothership – that was cool and unexpected.
But how did they convince Mary Faulkner to like the V’s? They connected here to their matrix/hub didn’t they? It’s some kind of drug that makes everyone happy.
Last but not least – how about Lisa (played by Toronto actress Laura Vandervoort??
No not a naked scene (this is ABC after all), but still that was …’interesting’.. especially since we now know hooking up with Tyler is all about pleasing her own mom – the leader of the ‘V’ s herself Anna!

Marcus is John May. Well hidden except that it is right in front of us. I think it’s interesting that they are representing the Fifth Column as not being afraid to kill. In the original the Fifth Column were pansies and wouldn’t have killed like Joshua and (apparently) Ryan. I’m thinking maybe before all is said and done we are going to find the Fifth Column is not as noble as we might think.
It’s right! I’m watching the series online from Venezuela! I cant wait for the new episode! Awesome!
Marcus, who?
Believe it or not this series is about to pull out all the stops… John Mays’ character will be played by…let’s say an emo superhero action star who made wearing all black look cool. An insider said they came prepared to beg but found out this speed’ demon movie star really liked the script and the character even more. Aren’t insiders gems!!!!
Marcus, Anna’s right-hand man (first mate?).
Keanu Reeves? DO HUH?
Keanu Reeves IS playing a character on the show V… Yeah! :)..,, it was on Imdb before they were asked to take it off. which is dumb..this is the net. Spread the word.
That would be cool as hell if John May is right in front of our face, and is Anna’s right hand man. I think all we can do is wait and see.
I am John May.
Oh, all right, John was my great, gt, gt gt grandfather
i think the fifth column is only a small piece of an alien government special forces group. its possible that the final scene of episode 4 shows the forces sent to stop Anna, who is actually the leader of an exiled alien cult.
dr- WOW! What a really neat thought/idea you have there, about the alien cult. I could definitely buy that! After seeing all of those ships, my wife an I were thinking “How could ALL of those aliens inhabit a small space such as Earth?” So, this would make sense!
