The Knights Of The Old Republic Return

Though KOTOR II is an excellent game, many gamers say that it feels rushed and incomplete. Indeed, it was discovered as early as 2005 that a lot of material designed for the end of the title was deleted. Additionally, it was discovered that certain character development scenes were left out, and some characters were even cut altogether. An intrepid band of fans have discovered the missing pieces that were not included in the final production version of KOTOR II, and slowly but surely, they’re making those hidden chapters and pieces available.

The effort is officially called The Sith Lords Restoration Project (TSLRP), and its goal is to add back in as much of the cut content as is possible.

No this is not KOTOR III but hey in the absense of that next game (rumored to be announced on May24th) Sith Lords Restoration may well be the next best thing.

KOTOR and KOTOR II are the two best Star Wars games of all time..Sith Lords Restoration truly is the missing link.

Maybe everyone with programing skills can fuse Kotor skins on the mass effect engine to make a new Kotor free from the greed and corruption that is infecting the modern game companies. This might give us some closure.

thats pretty cool but itd be sweet if there was a kotor III. its a bummer theres not but hey like the post says TSLRP is the next best thing. so is it a game called that or are they incorporating TSLRP into kotor II?

I know there won’t be a kotor 3 but they should have at least tried to make it, but I can’t wait for TSLRP

Trust me, I doubt that anybody is more pissed off than I am that they are not making KOTOR III. I am so annoyed that they are releasing an MMO instead. In theory, there is nothing wrong with that, but I REALLY wanted a decent conclusion to Revan’s story. Instead, the writers opted for the “he went of to find the true Sith, and simply never returned” approach. What a bloody cop-out!

Not that I know anything about the people doing the restoration mod, but thanks in advance to all of you for your hard work and effort. Any idea when it’s going to be done???

I agree with Anthony. They should have let you continue as Revan in KOTOR III. He was by far the coolest EU character EVER! (or she if you are that way inclined, but male is canon, so whatever) And I always thought that the romance between Revan and Bastila was so awesome, not to mention the fact that Bastila is so hot! I know she’s just a set of pixels on the screen, but man, what a set of pixels baby!

Seriously though, I was immensely pissed at the decision to make the third game an MMO and have it that Revan simply never returned. That was like the biggest cop-out in the history of all cop-outs! (at least in my opinion) If anyone could have rallied the Jedi and Republic (and even the Mandalorians), and sent the True Sith packing, it would have been Revan!

But the people at Bioware said that making an MMO was a better way of telling a more involving story. I can’t help but think that the main reason was $$$$$$$$$!

But I prattle on.

I don’t really see what the big deal is, I can’t think of a better way to breathe life back into the franchise than by making a pile of money on an MMO. It’s not like if they make a small fortune on an online game they would hesitate to find a way to make more single player games if they thought they could sell them as well.
