We love Summer Glau – and hey we even tolerated her as a Terminator..

but in The Cape she’s the only decent bit of a really terrible show..and her bit isn’t even any good either.

What a total waste of time – easily the worst show we’ve seen all year so far.

I strongly disagree OP. I thoroughly enjoyed The Cape.

Summer Glau was also the best terminator. Especially with the unintelligible Ahnold as the Bar.(and I loved Arnold’s terminator) You sound like a frakking moron to be honest.

The Cape is pretty bad. The acting is really bad overall, the dialogue is cheesey, and the show is totally derivative and unoriginal. So why do I keep watching? I don’t know. It’s definitely worse than Heroes was, and it got pretty lousy at times. Guess I want some superhero show someplace. NBC is really hurting this season. They’ve screwed up Chuck, cancelled Law and Order, etc.

As a hardcore Firefly fan, I would Tivo an hour of Summer Glau shaving her legs in the shower (who wouldn’t:). That said, the Cape seriously sucks, even with Summer as its only bright spot. Would some producer somewhere PLEASE find a role this beautiful talented girl can actually work with?

The Cape is basically Batman-lite. Batman with none of the additional baggage or things that make it good. Heck The Cape even has his own Oracle in Orwell. Side by side you can tell they were ripping off Batman.

Seriously the Circus Ninja… That just screams Dick Grayson (of the Flying Grayson’s) as Batman with out the expensive toys. I only watch because i want a superhero show to watch until young justice comes out. :/

well the first two episodes were OK. but after that it got really cheesy, i love the idea of the cape that’s fantastic although the hood could be bigger it looks way to tight. and for the rest of the costume it sucks his armor looks like something out of roman times. he looks like he’s going trick or treating or something. as far as the story it started good but the acting is just not good at all. the guy playing the cape is just plain bad his punch lines are terrible. a good idea gone to waste!!

Totally agree; The Cape should be retitled, “The Crap”. By the way Summer Glau would make a great Ellen Ripley.

I CANT STAND IT!!…
EVERYTIME I ASK MYSELF WHY I KEEP GOING BACK TO IT..MAYBE IT’S BECAUSE I THINK THEY’LL GET IT RIGHT NEXT EPISODE, OR BEGINNERS EXCUSE…IT SUCKS… THE GUY WHO PLAYS MAX MALINI IS RUINING HIS REPUTATION BY BEING PART OF SUCH IDIOCRACY

The Cape is awesome. I like how people are using derivative as an insult. All shows are derivative. Here is a comic show finally going back to the golden age (and I’ve got news for all the Batfans on here… the exotic circus trainer origin predates Dick Grayson. I guess you’ll all have to stop reading/watching Batman, since it’s so “derivative and unoriginal”), and all you can do is shit on it. As if Heroes wasn’t a used condom of suckage.

i know about that, batman is basically sherlock holmes. but one can find originality in a retooled plot or premise. like the new karate kid, it was pretty good, not the same as the original but they made it their own.

Batman is Sherlock Holmes a bit. A lot more Lamont Cranston.
