Jacen Solo’s Sith Name is..Darth Caedus! May 18, 2007

Thnx to jwash24 who posted as a comment. ShowMeSciFi has now been able to independently verify that indeed Darth Caedus is Jacen Solo’s Sith name.
Jacen’s Sith name was chosen by a contest and follows his long descent into the dark side in the Legacy of the Force series (which is the most awesome Star Wars series in years if not of ALL TIME).
He takes his Sith name in Sacrifice set to come out in just a few weeks, but early copies are all already being leaked by the publisher.
So who does Jacen have to Sacrifice to get his Sith name…i could hardly believe it myself (and if you really want to know just look at the cover of the book and it’s quite obvious)..and i’m actually going to suspend dis-belief if you don’t mind until i get my hands on a copy of Sacrifice on May 29th.

I read somewhere that boba fett’s wife will return. not surprising, since boba is already in the series. i would really like to see ben apprenticed to his father luke, and possibly see callista return as a possible luke love interest. of course, she never died, only left. sure would be cool to see master from the old republic come back, like mace. just my frame of thinking π

mace windu never really died. he got pushed out a window.he was injured and placed in stasis.

I love the dark tone all these books have taken and they way that it really puts you out of your comfort zone. If you read any pre-NJO books (while MOST are great) you know that none of the important characters are really in any danger… this really changes all that.
I’m sure nothing i am saying is new to anyone but i didn’t notice it posted anywhere here.
No one mentioned either that the inevitable battle that will occur between Darth Caedus and Luke, could it kill luke??? Has anyone mentioned luke dying? i know that is a massive call especially with any furture books that want to be set later down the track post Legacy of the Force but he has to die sooner or later. Better to die by his own nephew then by some throw away dark jedi that has been dragged up somewhere from some obscure long ago book or comic??
anyway when did this post turn into an essay sorry for boreing you but i am at work and have nothing better to do.
Sorry i am back. Where was it written that someone was coming back??? I think everyone here is right in that it will be either Veregre or Anakin Solo (but i think Anakin coming back would be a bit of a Deus Ex Machina ending) Vegere would be much better suited. Anakin skywalker his grandad coming back would be stupid. Wasn’t it mentioned somehwere that Ben could no longer talk to luke because he had long ago became one with the force? If Grandad popped up out of the blue it would be stupid… they have never even met. Myabe its an outside chance but i, for one, wouldn’t like it.

Also if Jacen is killed it will be 2 kids that Leia and Han have lost and it would be wierd if they did that. Jaina would no longer have her “twin bond i love my brother we are inseperable jedi balls of Awsomeness” which would severely detract from jaina’s character as well as losing Jacen. You would in effect be “killing” 2 charcters by killing of jacen as jaina would be serverly weakened.
Anyway i am excited and cant wait for the next few books
ben couldnt talk to luke because episode 3 wasnt written yet.yoda says immortality.the old jedi will return to help ben skywalker.luke will die of old age just as ackbar did.luke better live for a while longer……….or else

The series is called “Legacy of the Force.” By this, one can assume that the torch in the Star Wars universe will be passed to others, most likely the younger generation of Jedi Knights and other adventurers. I see this series as a transition away from the Trilogy heroes entirely, relegating them to supporting roles and cameos; much like Stackpole’s Xwing series only featued “guest appearances” from Luke, Leia and Han. I see Luke and the senior Jedi becoming more like the Jedi counsole, sending the younger JEdi on missions and being there for advice.
