The Doctor’s Wife wow the TARDIS is alive!
What an interesting twist.. We’ve never seen the tardis personified before have we?
Having the message cubes as a lure was also a neat trick…and you just gotta love the humor….
700 years and the Doctor has never read the front of his own box….pull, NOT push the door open!
But why call the episode the doctor’s wife? Isn’t dr song the doctor’s wife? Is she somehow also the soul of the tardis?
Star Wars Legacy WAR Ends – The end of the Legacy Era. Will Cade Skywalker survive? May 23, 2011

This week will see the END
THE FINALE
(there ain’t NO MORE)
of the greatest SciFi comic book series of all time.
After 56 issues (50 regular and 6 Legacy War), Star Wars Legacy is coming to a close with Star Wars Legacy: War #6. We don’t think that Dark Horse will be extending beyond this (but hey those FRAKKING DOUCHE BAGS have done this to us before).
Legacy coming to an end…will Cade survive? Will Darth Krayt? Cade’s mom has gotta be toast? Will Roan Fel emerge as the new emperor? Will the galaxy be united?
There are so many questions and so many sub-plots in play, we don’t know HOW Dark Horse can wrap this up in one issue. In any event, Legacy writers and artists, John Ostrander in particular has never disappointed us and we can hardly wait to pick this book up.
Doctor Who : The Curse of the Black Spot – Sirens are Emergency Medical Holograms… May 23, 2011

From theΒ ‘Ancient Mysteries Solved by SciFi‘ files:
The legend of the mermaid sirens that lured sailors to their doom is an ancient one. We’ve never seen it properly treated in a SciFi show…until now. The Curse of the Black Spot gave us a unique viewpoint on this ancient myth.
Transdimensional mirrors and emergency medical holograms…
Go figure.
Definitely an interesting idea…though there were a few minor holes in the story. For example, a simple cut meant that a person needed medical treatment? really? unless of course the system knew the cut would lead to tetanus or something…
And SUUUUUUUUUUUUREE a 16th century English pirate can pilot a starship yeah…
Beyond that..a really solid episode that made us think and that’s why we watch Doctor Who. It’s a show with great actors and fantastic plots that challenges our conventional ways of thinking with new ideas.

E
We are still DISGUSTED by the FRAKKING IDIOTS at SyFy for cancelling this show..
but first let us lament the best of the best.
Eli.
From the very first episode to now — the very last, Eli has been our favorite character.
He’s the guy we all associate with, the game player that never lived up to expectation..kinda like the Last Starfighter, only a heck of alot smarter.
Eli is the man that figured out the final chevron.
Eli is the one that figure out how to pilot through the blue star
Eli is the one that figured it was better to run than to fight.
And it is only fitting that he is the last man standing.
SGU was a fine show, the last 10 episodes were among the best Stargate episodes in any version of Stargate SG-1, Atlantis or otherwise. There is more story to tell and more life left is this franchise.
Apparently SyFy would rather broadcast wrestling and mixed martial arts than SciFi.
We suggest that all SyFy subscribers cancel their subscription to the channel – since it doesn’t support SciFi any more.
Fringe is on FOX.
Doctor Who is on BBC America.
And when Battlestar Galactica Blood and Chrome come on – you can just buy it on iTunes. No need to support the FRAKKERS that cancelled SGU is there?

The future world of fringe is even stranger than the altermate world of Fringe, isn’t.
Walter in jail? For what?
Senator Broiles? And with a glass eye too?
Olivia and Peter married? And WAlternate as the master terrorist? Wow so many twists and turns..
“no matter who is at fault, you’re my dad”
And holy cow..Walternate kills Olivia? Unbelievable.swift and shocking.
The first, people is walter he was the one that sent the machine back in time…
And what? Peter never existed? Wtf?
Star Wars The Old Republic : Deceived – THE BEST TOR Book EVER! May 1, 2011

From beginning to end, this is one of the best Star Wars books EVER written.
Sure, we kinds knew what to expect in the beginning, the good folks at BioWare have produced an awesome trailer showing Darth Malgus sacking the Jedi Temple and Coruscant.
But that’s only a small part of the story.
Who is the Sith on the cover of this book? Who is Darth Malgus?
That’s what we get insight into in a brilliant tour de force. Reading about Malgus alone would have made this book awesome, but author Paul Kemp has also given us the flip side, a Jedi deceived with Aryn Leneer. Her story of attempting vengeance and then giving mercy is the perfect foil to Malgus’ Sith mastery.
Along the way we find out about multiple layers of deception and truth with some solid dialogue and plot along the way.
This book is so good, we can hardly wait for more from Kemp and hopefully more on Darth Malgus sooner rather than later.

how does Sam Wise know so much? There are multiple SAMs too?
The bigger shift is the idea that Olivia is the key to unlock the machine..we had forgotten that episode where she shut off the lights with her mind ..
But what happened inside the machine? Is that a vision of the future it sure looked a lot like Dollhouse’s epitaph
Stargate Universe SGU Novus is a cool planet, but why no FTL? April 26, 2011

wow that was one heck of an awesome two parter.
We’ve had many episodes where the crew of the destiny are stuck on one planet or another. But now we see a future where destiny’s crew really did get stuck. No surprise that tj and young hookup, James and varo was a surprise..
The more amazing part is the city the survivors descendants built…and all without Rush.
But with all their advancement how come the ppl of Novus never built FTL drives?

Dodgers still playing in Ebbets Field..against th expos? The Montreal Expos?
What happens now to baby henry, with fauxolivia in a holding cell?

Still no suit!
Where did Booster get that Legion ring from? He stole it? Another thoughtful episode with little real action..but lots of little progression.
Nice touch too with the Man of Steel banner…but how could Booster not know that Clark would become Superman?

Stargate Universe season 2 episode 16 The Hunt [HD] was another fantastic episode.
What a brilliant concept around hunting.
If the beast is intelligent you can’t eat it….and an amazing full circle of events from the beginning when Greer can’t kill the space deer, until the end when he doesn’t kill the monster as it recognizes him to be intelligent for the …fire?
ok a little bit ofΒ a stretch but still cool.

We finally got our hands a copy of John Jackson Miller’s Knight Errant novel.
We loved the comic book so we had some pretty high expectations. How do you translate a comic to a book?
As it turns out, it translates exceptionally well. This is a story that has more story arcs than 20 issues of Dark Horse comics would have provided.
Kerra doesn’t just deal with Damian and Odion but a whole host of Sith baddies..and even uncovers the truth about who controls Sith space.
With twists and turns all over the place, this is one of the best Star Wars books we’ve read in years. Solidly entertaining and engaging on every level.
We highly recommend it.

sure it was a neat effect to have Walter, Peter and belly as animated characters, but why?
And is belly really dead? Or will he be brought back by another set of soul magnets?
In any event it’s to great to have Olivia back, though it was kinda fun to have her talk with the Leanord Nimoy voice
Dollhouse Dark Horse one shot isn’t a one shot.. April 9, 2011

epitaph one was where the dollhouse show ended. The comic starts at the same spot ..but unlike the show this is really quite lame. In a one shot we expect a self contained story, but that’s not what we get. This is just a drawn out prologue for a new dollhouse comic book series.
We don’t have a problem with that, but hey the one shot should have been btw.

No it’s not Ossus again or is it?
Seems to yme that the Jedi got routed in this issue.
And oh yeah uncle Bantha buys the farm
We don’t understand why Bantha couldn’t save both Cade and himself..seems odd..then again this whole series is about to wrap-up, so now is as good a time as any to start killing off characters
This Sith Troopers sure looked nasty too didn’t they?

Hope – we sure had it when Gin died – or at least when her body died.
We didn’t believe she was actually dead. Eli is the best character on the show and he wasn’t going to cheated that way.
So now his girlfriend -and Dr. Rush’s Amanda Perry are both back as sentients inside of Destiny – neat.
But how is it that only specific people see them? Is it some kind of brain wavelength thing?
How will they get them into new bodies? Maybe into robot bodies?
Once again – another awesome episode and once again we’re DISGUSTED that the frakking idiots at Syfy have cancelled this brilliant show.
